Why Riley At Home

Three things you can count on

  1. A doctor on your care team

Psychiatry is part of the program, not a referral you chase. You meet the medical team at admission and keep meeting them while you are in treatment.

  2. Medication inside the program

If medication is right for you, it is prescribed here. Buprenorphine, naltrexone, and medication for co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression, when it is medically and clinically appropriate.

  3. Evenings, so the working day stays yours

Groups meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6 to 9 pm Pacific. You keep going to work, stay with your family, and sleep in your own bed.

Getting started

How it works

  1. Get started or call

Tell us what is going on and we will tell you whether this is the right level of care. Transparent pricing on that first call, and no hidden fees.

  2. We go over cost and coverage

On that same call we walk through how you would pay and give you a real number, before you commit to anything.

  3. A quick technology check

We make sure your device, camera, and connection can hold a three-hour group. If something won't work, tell us and we'll work it out with you.

  4. Start when you are ready

Enrollment is rolling. You join the eight-week cycle wherever it is, so there is no waiting for a group to begin.

For families

Here for someone else?

A lot of people who call us are a parent, a partner, or a friend. You can ask questions without your person being ready, and we will tell you honestly whether this sounds like the right level of care.

Questions

Common questions

Does treatment over video actually work?

This is intensive outpatient treatment delivered virtually, not a lighter version of it. The program meets the same California DHCS certification, staffing, privacy, and weekly-hour standards as in-person care, with the same clinical content.

When do groups meet?

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6 to 9 pm Pacific. Each session runs three hours. There is one evening track right now.

How long does the program take?

About eight weeks on average. The curriculum runs as an eight-week cycle with rolling enrollment, so you start when you are ready and join the cycle wherever it is.

Can I get medication through the program?

Yes, when it is medically and clinically appropriate. Buprenorphine, naltrexone, and medication for co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression are prescribed inside the program, so you do not need a separate prescriber. The physician decides what is appropriate for you.

Is this private?

Yes. Substance use treatment records are protected by federal law, both 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA. Sessions run on a HIPAA-compliant video platform, and nobody records, screenshots, or photographs a session.

What does it cost?

You get a real number on the first call, before you commit to anything, and there are no hidden fees. If you pay yourself, one price covers the whole program, including psychiatry and case management. Medication itself is filled at your own pharmacy and paid for separately. We do not publish figures because what you pay depends on how you are paying.
